Evelyn Kerschbaumer

Born in Bolzano, Italy, Evelyn discovered her passion for music at a young age. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Music in piano from the "Claudio Monteverdi" Conservatory in Bolzano and is currently completing her Master's in piano performance under the guidance of Maestro Cristiano Burato.

Evelyn has been awarded in numerous national and international competitions, including the third prize at the 10th International Competition for Young Musicians "Antonio Salieri," the third prize at the "Iscart International Online Music Competition," the Consul Award from the Polish Consul at the "Chopin Avenue International Online Piano Competition," the third prize at the "Clara Schumann Wettbewerb" (Online), the first prize at the "Golden Piano Talents" (Online), the third prize at the "4th International Online Piano Competition Clavissimo," the third prize at the "2nd International Amadeus Online Piano Competition," and the second prize at the "Concorso Internazionale Città di Alessandria."

Evelyn furthered her studies through various masterclasses with renowned professors such as Peter Tuite, Denis Gelenbe, Martino Tirimo, Charles Marin, Mariusz Drzewick, and Anna Kijanowska.

As a soloist, Evelyn has performed in various locations in Italy, including with the "Monteverdi Academy" orchestra, having won the audition at the Conservatory. In 2022, she participated in the performance of Saint Saëns' "Le carnaval des animaux" alongsi de Cristiano Burato and the orchestra.

She has also gained significant experience in chamber music, winning the second prize in the chamber music category at the "16th Concorso Nazionale di Esecuzione Musicale Piove di Sacco" as a duo with the violin and participating in the "International Summ er Academy Cervo," where she attended a masterclass with renowned professors like Erika Geldsetzer.

Additionally, Evelyn has experience in teaching and has worked in various music schools in South Tyrol, Italy, further emphasizing her versatile expertise in the musical field.
